Tesco Bags of Help – Please donate your blue counters!

Next time you are shopping in Tesco and you are given blue counters at the checkout please put them in instore collecting box for Pathways 4 All!

Pathways 4 All is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to local community projects.Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.

Pathways 4 All is one of the groups on the shortlist!

Pathways 4 All is seeking a grant for sensory equipment for an outdoor sensory garden within it’s dedicated centre for disabled children, The Tim Lamb Centre, in North Tyneside. The charity helps over 750 families from across the North East access specialist play facilities for those with a range of disabilities. A sensory garden will ensure that the outside area is fully inclusive to all their families.

Voting is open in stores throughout May and June. Customers will cast their vote using a token given to them at the check-out in store each time they shop.

These are the stores taking part and voting will be in May and June only.
